Open Letter - Single Parent

As a single parent, neurospicy family, Covid felt particularly isolating. The children had been suffering with anxiety and had experienced bullying before hand and it only got worse afterwards. Before moving to St Clare’s, we had been to and fro doctors and the school and the only solution we were offered was to dose daily with painkillers to ease headaches and stomach pains triggered by stress. On top of it all, the children were falling further and further behind academically.

I struggle to find the funds, relying on money bequeathed to the children and some assistance from grandparents to pay the fees. But the difference the smaller school has made has been life changing. The ND issues are being managed and the anxiety is minimal. The move really did give me my happy, thriving kids back. I’ve fought hard for this opportunity, and will continue to fight the decision as I can’t see another viable option for us if St Clare’s closes.
