I’m really upset about the school closing. St Clare’s is the only school I’ve ever liked going to. At my old school, I got bullied all the time, and I hated going there. I felt sad and worried every day because I knew what was coming and I didn’t think school could ever be good for someone like me. But when I came to St Clare’s it got so much better. I made proper friends and the teachers are really nice. They even know my handwriting without me writing my name on things. 

It’s hard to explain how nice it is at St Clare's. It’s not just lessons and homework it’s like we’re all friends and everyone knows each other. I think I know the name of everyone in the whole school. I’m also really sad about the teachers because they will lose there jobs. They keep coming to school and smiling but I know they are sad. It’s not fair that they work so hard to make us happy and safe and then this happens. 

My favourite teacher is Mrs Smart she is always kind to everyone and everyone loves her all the kids and teachers know she is the best. I don’t know what to do if the school shuts. I don’t want to go to the comp because the kids who bullied me in primary go there and it would be horrible again. We don’t live near any other good schools so I don’t know what to do. 

It feels like the people doing this don’t care about us, just about money. But for us it’s not about money this is our lives and we just want to be happy. I wish someone would listen and help us keep our school.
